DISC Lecture Series: Redistribution and the Political Economy of Education by Marius R. Busemeyer

Marius R. Busemeyer is a senior researcher at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies in Cologne, Germany. Starting in January 2011, he will be professor of political science at the University of Constance. His research centers on the comparative political economy of education and training, welfare states and theories of institutional change. He has published in, among others, the European Journal of Political Research, the British Journal of Political Science, the Journal of European Public Policy and West European Politics. He is co-editor of “The Comparative Political Economy of Collective Skill Formation Systems”, which is forthcoming with Oxford University Press in 2011.
