Academic/Professional Experience and Achievements: 

Artak Galyan is a Doctoral Candidate at the Comparative Politics Track. His research interests refer to politics of divided societies, with particular focus on the capacity of political institutions to “engineer” specific political, social and economic outcomes in divided societies. His doctoral research focuses on the conjunctural effects of political institutions and socio-economic contextual conditions on conflict dynamics in low-capacity ethnically divided states. Artak holds an MA in Political Science from Central European University, and a BA in Linguistics (major) and Political Science (minor) from Yerevan State Linguistic University.
